Can You Leave Multiple Reviews on Google?

If you've ever wondered whether you can review the same business more than once on Google, you're not alone. The short answer: usually, no—but there are nuances. Google’s system is designed to accept one review per user per business. This helps maintain fairness and prevents spam or manipulation in the review ecosystem.

However, exceptions do exist. If a business operates multiple locations, you can—and should—leave a separate review for each one. For example, visiting two different branches of the same coffee chain? Each location deserves its own rating based on your experience there.

Additionally, Google may allow multiple reviews if the services offered are distinctly different, even under the same roof. Take a restaurant that also provides catering: you might leave one review for the in-house dining experience and another for the off-site catering service. In such cases, Google treats them as separate entities due to the nature of the service provided.

Keep in mind: attempting to post multiple reviews for the same service or location using different accounts violates Google’s guidelines and could result in removal or account restrictions. Authenticity matters.

The goal of Google’s review system is to reflect genuine customer experiences. Whether you're raving about a brunch spot or sharing feedback on a hotel stay, your voice contributes to a broader picture—one review at a time. So be honest, specific, and fair. That’s what helps others make better decisions.
