While garlic supplements often rely on powdered or raw garlic, they may lack the enhanced stability and potency found in aged extracts. The aging process reduces irritating compounds like allicin, which can cause stomach upset, while increasing beneficial sulfur-containing molecules such as S-allylcysteine—known for better absorption and biological activity.
