Condensation is the process where water vapor in the air cools down and turns into liquid water. It’s the reverse of evaporation, where liquid becomes vapor. When warm, moist air comes into contact with a cooler surface—like a windowpane, a mirror after a hot shower, or even the walls of your refrigerator—the water molecules lose energy, slow down, and cluster together to form visible droplets.
