The Truth About Jack Osbourne's Police Career
If you have ever stumbled across old clips or internet rumors claiming that reality television star Jack Osbourne is a working police officer in California, you might be surprised by the actual story. The short answer is no—he is not a cop, nor does he patrol the streets of the Golden State.
The rumor stems back to a specific television project from 2007. Jack Osbourne participated in a CBS reality series called Armed & Famous, which followed a handful of celebrities as they trained to become reserve police officers. For the purposes of that specific show, he was legally sworn in as a reserve officer. However, this was strictly for television production rather than the start of an actual law enforcement career.
Today, the connection to the department is long over. He is not currently active on the force, and his brief stint with law enforcement remains just a quirky piece of 2000s reality TV history.
