The Secrets Behind Faster Water Evaporation
Have you ever noticed how a puddle on the street dries up way quicker on a scorching summer afternoon than on a chilly autumn morning? Evaporation is happening all around us, but it does not always happen at the same pace. Two major factors dictate just how fast water turns from a liquid into an invisible vapor.
First up is temperature. Heat provides water molecules with a burst of kinetic energy. When the surrounding air and the liquid itself are warm, these molecules move much faster.
