What Is a Normal Pulmonary Artery Pressure?

When doctors assess heart and lung health, one key measurement they look at is the pulmonary arterial pressure, or PAP. This number reflects the pressure in the arteries that carry blood from the heart to the lungs. But what counts as a "good" PAP number?

Generally, a mean pulmonary artery pressure of **15 to 20 mm Hg** is considered within the normal range.
