When it comes to recycling plastics, one type stands out for its widespread recovery and reuse: PET, or polyethylene terephthalate. Commonly found in beverage bottles, food containers, and even clothing fibers, PET is the most recycled polymer in the world. Its popularity in recycling streams is due in large part to its consistent composition and ease of processing.
