The First Whisper of Life on Earth

More than 3.7 billion years ago, in a world of scorching heat, volcanic chaos, and a thin, toxic atmosphere, something extraordinary happened—life began. Not with a bang, but with quiet, invisible stirrings in ancient oceans. The earliest organisms we know of were simple microbes, so small they could only be seen under a microscope, yet their impact was monumental.
