Pastor Jerry Eze Tops Nigeria’s YouTube Earnings
When thinking of YouTube megastars, traditional content creators like vloggers, comedians, or musicians usually come to mind. However, Nigeria’s digital landscape tells a remarkably different story. According to reports based on Playboard analytics, Pastor Jerry Eze has claimed the title of Nigeria's highest-earning YouTuber for the second consecutive year.
The founder of Streams of Joy International has turned online ministry into a massive global phenomenon. His channel hosts the popular daily morning prayer session, New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), which draws hundreds of thousands of live viewers every day. Driven by an engaged global audience, the channel has accumulated an estimated total revenue of roughly ₦10.7 billion.
The primary driver behind these staggering numbers is YouTube’s Super Chat feature. During live streams, thousands of devoted followers pay to highlight their messages, prayer requests, and testimonies in the live chat. With creators receiving 70% of Super Chat revenue, these micro-donations compound into millions of Naira daily, outperforming mainstream entertainment channels across the country.
