Instead of packing on muscle, elite fighters focus on functional strength, speed, and endurance. Their training builds fast-twitch muscle fibers for explosive punches and footwork, without the bulk. Think of it like comparing a sports car to a truck—both are powerful, but only one is built for agility and precision at high speed.

Even their workouts reflect this. While they lift weights, it’s usually with high reps and moderate resistance—designed to enhance endurance rather than add size. Core stability, neck strength, and shoulder resilience are prioritized over biceps or chest mass.
