Why You Should Avoid Plastic

Plastics are completely woven into modern life. They are cheap, incredibly convenient, and seemingly everywhere you look. However, that convenience comes with a heavy, often hidden price tag for both our bodies and the planet.

When you use plastic containers or drink bottles, you might not realize that they often contain harmful chemical additives. Over time, especially when exposed to heat, these chemicals can slowly leach directly into your food and beverages. Regular exposure to these substances has been linked by researchers to various long-term health concerns.

Beyond personal health, the environmental impact is staggering. Because plastic is designed to last, nearly every piece of plastic ever manufactured still exists in some form today. It litters natural landscapes, clogs oceans, and breaks down into microscopic particles that infiltrate ecosystems worldwide, creating long-lasting environmental pollution that is exceptionally difficult to reverse.
