Decoding the 1:100 Scale

When you encounter a scale of 1:100 on a blueprint or architectural drawing, it provides a straightforward rule for translating paper measurements into real-world dimensions.

This means that every 1 centimetre measured with a ruler on the plan represents 100 centimetres (or 1 metre) in reality. By simply multiplying your measured length by 100, you can easily figure out the actual size of the space or object.
