He got his dander up.

Their audacity is marvellous, and we are greatly enraged at it.

'There's no such thing!'

He has laid His curse upon them and has prepared for them Hell.

I should like to think that an irate Jehovah was pointing those arrows of lightning directly at my head.

Unto them shall befell the evil turn of fortune, and Allah shall be wroth with them and shall curse them, and He hath gotten ready for them Hell an ill destination!

They are surrounded by evil and God is angry with them, and has cursed them, and has prepared for them Hell a miserable destination.

For them is the evil turn of fortune, and Allah is wroth against them and hath cursed them, and hath made ready for them hell, a hapless journey's end.

For them shall be an adverse turn of fortune Allah is wrathful with them and He has cursed them, and prepared hell for them and it is an evil destination.

The Wrath of Allah is on them, and He has cursed them and prepared for them Gehenna (Hell), an evil arrival!

Upon them is a misfortune of evil nature and Allah has become angry with them and has cursed them and prepared for them Hell, and evil it is as a destination.

On them is the evil turn, and Allah is wroth with them and has cursed them and prepared hell for them, and evil is the resort.

How evil is such a destination.

On them is a round of Evil the Wrath of Allah is on them He has cursed them and got Hell ready for them and evil is it for a destination.

Have you not seen those who have taken a people who have roused the wrath of God, as friends?

Did you not see those who befriended those upon whom is Allah s wrath?

Hast thou not regarded those who have taken for friends a people against whom God is wrathful?

Beholdest thou not those who take for friends a people with whom Allah is angered?

Have you (O Muhammad SAW) not seen those (hypocrites) who take for friends a people upon whom is the Wrath of Allah (i.e. Jews)?

Have you considered those who befriended a people with whom God has become angry?

Do you not see those who took for friends a people whom Allah is wroth with?

Hast thou not seen those who take for friends a folk with whom Allah is wroth?

Have you not regarded those who befriend a people at whom Allah is wrathful?

Do you see those who have been guided by a nation that incurred the Wrath of Allah?

Have you not considered those who make allies of a people with whom Allah has become angry?

Have you not seen those who have established friendship with the people who are subject to the wrath of God?

Have you not seen those who befriend a people with whom Allah is wroth?

Do you not see those who have befriended a people who have brought down upon themselves the wrath of God?

Turnest thou not thy attention to those who turn (in friendship) to such as have the Wrath of Allah upon them?

It is they who are surrounded by evil and have become subject to the wrath and condemnation of God.

For an instant his eyes blazed at me, but my frankness disarmed his anger, and he broke at last into a rather rueful laugh.

At night the wrathful countenance of Therese was a torture to him, and he was unable to find an opportunity to explain to her how it was he had broken his word.

So Moses returned to his people full of anger and regret. O my people, he said, did not your Lord make you a better promise?

So Moosa turned back to his people, angry and grieving he said, O my people, had not your Lord given you a good promise?

Do not befriend the people upon whom is Allah s wrath they have lost hope in the Hereafter the way the disbelievers have lost hope in the people of the graves.

Then Moses returned very angry and sorrowful to his people, saying, 'My people, did your Lord not promise a fair promise to you?

So Musa returned unto his people, indignant and sorrowful. He said O my people! promised there not your Lord unto you an excellent promise!

Take not as friends the people who incurred the Wrath of Allah (i.e. the Jews). Surely, they have been in despair to receive any good in the Hereafter, just as the disbelievers have been in despair about those (buried) in graves (that they will not be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection).

So Moses returned to his people, angry and disappointed. He said, O my people, did your Lord not promise you a good promise?

Do not befriend people with whom God has become angry, and have despaired of the Hereafter, as the faithless have despaired of the occupants of the graves.

Moses returned to his people full of wrath and grief, and said My people! Has your Lord not made good an excellent promise He made to you?

Then Moses went back unto his folk, angry and sad. He said O my people!

Be not friendly with a folk with whom Allah is wroth, (a folk) who have despaired of the Hereafter as the disbelievers despair of those who are in the graves.
