Most basketball fans consider breaking the 100-point mark in a single game to be an impressive offensive feat. However, on January 12, 1992, Troy State University achieved the unthinkable by shattering the double-century barrier in a legendary matchup against DeVry University.

Coached by Don Maestri, Troy played an ultra-fast-paced, high-pressing style that caught fire from the opening tip. By halftime, Troy had already put up an astonishing 123 points, leaving spectators and opponents entirely stunned.

The scoring barrage continued relentlessly into the second half. With just under ten minutes remaining on the clock, a three-pointer by Chris Greasham brought Troy's total to 189 points, officially breaking the previous NCAA single-game scoring record of 187. But the team wasn't finished yet.
