How to Easily Memorize Square Roots

Struggling to remember square roots? You're not alone. The key is to start simple. Instead of trying to memorize a long list of decimals, focus first on the perfect squares—those neat numbers that result in whole numbers when you take their square root.

The easiest place to begin is with the squares of numbers from 1 to 5. For example, √1 = 1, √4 = 2, √9 = 3, √16 = 4, and √25 = 5. These building blocks are not only easy to remember, but they also help you estimate the square roots of numbers in between.
