The Invisible Threat Lurking in Our Air

Reducing our reliance on fossil fuels—through cleaner transportation, renewable energy, and stricter emissions standards—is key to lowering NO₂ levels. In cities around the world, efforts to expand public transit, promote electric vehicles, and green urban spaces are not just about climate—they’re about breathing easier, literally. The air we inhale matters more than we realize, and NO₂ is a reminder that the worst pollutants aren’t always the ones we can see.
