The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2002 95 EC, (RoHS 1), short for Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union.
La directive RoHS européenne, interdit l'utilisation de plus de 0,1 en poids de chrome hexavalent.	Within the European Union, the use of hexavalent chromium in electronic equipment is largely prohibited by the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive.
Concernant la proposition sur la limitation des substances dangereuses RoHS, la Commission peut accepter quatre amendements complètement, un en partie et sept en principe.	On the RoHS proposal, the Commission can accept four amendments in full, one in part and seven in principle.
