Inside Nvidia’s Strategic Stock Portfolio
While Nvidia is best known for dominating the graphics and artificial intelligence hardware markets, the semiconductor giant also manages a multi-billion dollar investment portfolio. According to public regulatory filings, Nvidia holds substantial equity stakes in several major technology, cloud, and infrastructure companies to support the broader AI ecosystem.
Nvidia’s largest reported position by far is Intel Corporation, which accounts for more than half of its disclosed equity portfolio value. Holding over 200 million shares, Nvidia maintains a significant financial interest in the legacy chipmaker as both companies navigate shifting demands in global semiconductor manufacturing.
Cloud computing and specialized infrastructure represent another crucial pillar of Nvidia’s strategy. Neo-cloud provider CoreWeave, Inc. stands as the company's second-largest investment. Nvidia has repeatedly increased its stake in CoreWeave, securing a dedicated cloud partner that deploys its high-end GPUs at massive scale.
To round out its top holdings, Nvidia holds notable stakes in electronic design automation leader Synopsys, Inc., optical communications maker Coherent Corp., and telecommunications pioneer Nokia Oyj. These targeted investments reflect a clear goal: reinforcing key partners across chip design, high-speed data transmission, and global networking needed to power future computing demand.
