Complementary provisions

If difficulties or disputes arise between the Contracting Parties regarding the implementation of this Agreement, the Customs Authorities of the Contracting Parties shall endeavour to resolve the matter through consultation and discussion.

For the purposes of the adoption of the acts and decisions necessary for the implementation of enhanced cooperation referred to in Article 43 , the relevant institutional provisions of this Treaty and of the Treaty establishing the European Community shall apply . However , while all members of the Council shall be able to take part in the deliberations , only those representing Member States participating in enhanced cooperation shall take part in the adoption of decisions .

The Annex to this Agreement forms an integral part of this Agreement and may be amended in accordance with this Article.

The Annexes, Protocols and footnotes to this Agreement shall form an integral part of this Agreement.

Regional economic integration organizations, in matters within their competence, shall exercise their right to vote with a number of votes equal to the number of their member States that are Parties to this Agreement.

are inconsistent with Article 19, provided that the difference in treatment is aimed at ensuring the effective or equitable imposition or collection of direct taxes in respect of economic activities, investors or service suppliers of the other Party.

The Parties shall keep under constant review the development of the situation which prompted that decision and which could serve as grounds for other appropriate measures taken outside the framework of this Agreement.

Joint Review

Notwithstanding termination of this Agreement, all reimbursement obligations incurred pursuant to its terms shall remain binding on the responsible Party until satisfied.

The text set out in Annex XIX to this Protocol is added to Appendix 1 of Annex XII to the Agreement.

All notifications to the Depositary shall be addressed to the Center's Executive Director.

This amendment shall enter into force on the first day of the second month following the date of the last note of the exchange of diplomatic notes between the Parties confirming that all necessary procedures for entry into force of this Agreement have been completed.
