They shall cooperate in fighting irregular migration, including through the implementation of the Readmission Agreement, as well as promoting border management policy as well as legal and operational frameworks.

Within their respective powers and competencies, the Parties shall cooperate to ensure a balanced and integrated approach towards drug issues.

The Parties recognise the contribution to the goal of sustainable development that can be made by promoting mutually supportive trade, environment and labour policies and reaffirm their commitment to promoting global and bilateral trade and investment in such a way as to contribute to that goal.
