For that insolence, you shall grovel before my son.

But she came and worshiped him, saying, Lord, help me.

Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

Should we adore whoever you ask us to? And their aversion increases further.

And this command only increases the hatred in them. (Command of Prostration 7)

Shall we bow ourselves to what thou biddest us?' And it increases them in aversion.

Shall we prostrate ourselves unto that which thou commandest us? And it increaseth in them aversion.

Shall we fall down in prostration to that which you (O Muhammad SAW) command us? And it increases in them only aversion.

Are we to bow down to whatever you command us? And it increases their aversion.

Would you have us prostrate ourselves before whomsoever you will? And this invitation only helps to increase their hatred all the more.

Are we to prostrate to whatever thou (Muhammad) biddest us? And it increaseth aversion in them.

Shall we prostrate ourselves before whatever you bid us? And it increases their aversion.

Shall we prostrate ourselves to whatever you bid us' And it increases their aversion.

Should we prostrate to that which you order us? And it increases them in aversion.

Why should we prostrate ourselves before the one whom you have commanded us to? This only increases their rebelliousness.

Shall we prostrate to what you bid us? And it adds to their aversion.

Shall we prostrate ourselves before whatever you will? This increases their aversion.

Shall we prostrate to that which thou commandest us? And it increases their flight (from the Truth).

His brothers also went and fell down before his face and they said, Behold, we are your servants.

And his brethren also went and fell down before his face and they said, Behold, we be thy servants.

It shall happen, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says Yahweh.

And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

Said (God) O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority?

Said Allah, O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands ?

Said He, 'Iblis, what prevented thee to bow thyself before that I created with My own hands?

Allah said O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which have created with both my hands?

(Allah) said O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands.

He said, O Satan, what prevented you from prostrating before what I created with My Own hands?

The Lord said O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands.

He said O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands?

He said, O Iblis! What keeps you from prostrating before that which I have created with My own two hands?

He (Allah) said 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands?

Allah said, O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands?

The Lord said, Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands?

He said O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands?

God said, Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands?

(Allah) said O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands?

How could I bow, said he, before a mortal whom You created from fermented clay dried tingling hard?

He answered, It does not befit me to prostrate myself to a human whom You have created from sounding clay made out of black smelly mud.

Said he, 'I would never bow myself before a mortal whom Thou hast created of a clay of mud moulded.'

He said it was not for me that should prostrate myself unto a human being whom Thou hast created from ringing clay of loam moulded.

Iblis (Satan) said I am not the one to prostrate myself to a human being, whom You created from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud.

He said, I am not about to prostrate myself before a human being, whom You created from clay, from molded mud.

He said It does not behove of me to prostrate myself before a human being whom You have created out of dry ringing clay wrought from black mud.

He said I am not one to prostrate myself unto a mortal whom Thou hast created out of potter's clay of black mud altered!
